Compared to traditional loop detectors or infrared sensors, the RD79-6M utilizes 79GHz LFM-CW radar technology with a 2T4R antenna structure, delivering high distance resolution, accurate target detection, and stable operation in outdoor or complex parking environments.

The radar supports multiple barrier arm types including straight arm, folding arm, fence barriers, and advertising barriers. It features multiple detection modes: anti-crush mode, trigger mode, and inclined-mount trigger mode.
